Ivory Innovations: Recipient of 2023 Common Good Award

Envision Utah celebrates Ivory Innovations with an award recognizing their work in creating a brighter future for the state

December 6th, 2023 - Ivory Innovations was recognized by Envision Utah’s Common Good Award, which honors organizations helping to create a brighter future for Utah. Other recipients include the GIV Group (fostering vibrant and affordable communities in Utah) and the Utah Women & Leadership Project (strengthening the impact of women in Utah through research, resources, and advocacy). Clark Ivory received the award on the organization’s behalf.

Ivory Innovations was awarded for their work in creating affordable housing, resources, and promoting innovations for residents, policymakers, and housing-concerned individuals both in Utah and beyond. Clark Ivory, Ivory Innovations Founder, spoke about the importance of affordable housing and the impact of Governor Cox’s call for 35,000 new starter homes to be built in the next 5 years.

At the September launch of the Housing for Impact Partnership between Ivory Innovations and Call to Action Foundation, Governor Cox said that housing affordability was among his deepest concerns when it came to Utah’s future. The Governor’s recent budget allocation of $150 million to build 35,000 new starter homes by 2028 is further proof of the need for more innovative housing solutions like those in the Ivory Innovations portfolio.

The Governor’s announcement and Envision Utah’s Common Good Awards show that all eyes are on the future of Utah’s housing landscape. Ivory Innovations is uniquely positioned to shape the path of housing innovation for the residents of Utah who deserve affordable housing solutions.
